Lift those spirits!

At times, life can be hard.

We all know this, and it’s easy to slip into thinking only of our own situation and needs. Yet sometimes the best thing to do is look around and see who needs a helping hand. It could be a simple thing – a compliment or a friendly smile. A caring gesture or a sympathetic ear. Helping others puts our own problems into perspective, and get this… it can bring joy to the person doing the helping. The act of lifting others lifts our own spirits, too.

So, next time you’re feeling rattled, don’t go straight to, ‘how can I feel better?’ Instead think, ‘how can I help someone else feel better?’

After all, a little caring goes a long way!
